Year 5 teacher Mario Mifsud has attended a conference in Dublin, Ireland entitled ”From Virtual to Reality: Moving from eTwinning to Erasmus+ in schools” between the 28 and the 30 November 2019. During this conference, our school had the opportunity to create new connections between several European schools. A number of new partners were formed and already started working on a virtual eTwinning project. The aim is to then change this virtual project into a real life Erasmus + programme where the exchange between students and teachers to these new partner schools could be possible.
Exploring with shapes and colours, writing and tracing are some of the activities carried out in the Kinder 2 classes using the light panel. These activities were aimed at enhancing creativity, fine motor skills, concentration and hand to eye coordination.
Our Year 5 students at Sannat Primary & Special Unit designed a logo each for the Erasmus+ project ‘ Europeans Together for Earth’ . A vote was taken to choose the best 3. They took this project seriously and loved working on it. This video shows all the work that was carried out by our pupils.
