Today, our Group 1 ~ Special Unit learners enjoyed a fantastic themed session! We started with a word fishing game—students fished out special words and answered questions, with some using their devices to make it even more interactive and accessible.
It was a day filled with smiles, creativity, and lots of enjoyment
Next, we put on our chef hats and prepared “spider sausages” ![]()
—perfect for our cooking session! After baking our creepy-crawly treats, students wrapped up the day with a fun and relaxing colouring activity.

Years 6.1 and 6.2 embarked on an in-depth exploration of Valletta’s lesser-known historical treasures, uncovering hidden gems and fascinating stories that shaped the city’s rich past. Away from the more popular tourist paths they learned about the everyday lives of Valletta’s early residents. Each discovery brought new perspectives on Malta’s capital, revealing layers of history often missed by the casual observer.
