ETWINNING AWARD
ERASMUS+ TRAINING IN ANTALYA TURKEY
Ms Georgianne & Ms Daniela attended Erasmus training with Cekdev International Education & Development Academy in Antalya Turkey. They had training about the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches. Both approaches focus on mind challenging and problem solving solutions, hands-on activities, artistic techniques, creativity and imagination.

CELEBRATING SAINT MARTIN
Today at school we celebrated the feast of Saint Martin of Tours, a Roman soldier whose story has been recounted several times. It is said that after cutting off half his cloak to give to a beggar, he had a vision and converted to Christianity. We were blessed with a bright, sunny day – St Martin’s summer. We also had a special visitor. Can you guess who?

EGG-DROP SCIENCE INVESTIGATION BY OUR YEAR 6 STUDENTS
The students had to investigate ways how an egg could be safely dropped from a two-storey building without cracking. The students had to design and build models which could hold the raw eggs while they were being dropped from the building. The aim of the activity was to investigate the properties of air resistance and gravity by evaluating the effectiveness of each model built by the students.
