Sustainable is Possible-EkoSkola Music Video Competition
The Gozo College Sannat Primary’s production was over all awarded the most points and will thus be sent to the international committee. Sannat Primary and Special Unit School produced this music video to promote and spread the word about Eco-Schools. This project was integrated in the day-to-day life at school.

Green Flag Ceremony Award at Palazzo Verdala
Our school has received the Green Flag from her Excellency The President Of Malta Mary Louise Coleiro Preca. A celebration followed at school.

Eko Skola Initiative
One of the main aims of the EkoSkola Commitee is to promote a healthy lifestyle. Today our head of school, Mr Daniel James Cassar, together with the EkoSkola committee have presented a small gift of appreciation to Ms Rotin and her daughter Aaliah. This is because they come to school on foot or by bicycle everyday.
‘Greener and Cleaner’ Gozo Campaign
On the 7th April 2014, the year 5 Class (Mr Gauchi & Ms Sonia) Eko Skola Commitee (Ms Doreen & Ms Gorgianne) and Dinja Wahda Commitee together with the PSD teachers took part in the ‘Greener and Cleaner’ Gozo Campaign. The clean-up Activity was entitled ‘Together we can make our village clean’. The Clean Up Site chosen was ‘Taht l-Kalkara tal-Gir’ and Gruwa Street, limits of Sannat. Together we collected 6 bags weighing 35.5 Kg of paper, plastic, glass and metal. Ms Godwine took care of the logistics.
Some student representatives, Dinja Wahda (PSD teachers) and EkoSkola Committee (Ms Doreen) together with Mr Cassar, Head of School were present at certificate-giving ceremony held at the Ministry of Gozo on Thursday 15th May at 3pm.

Sustainability starts with the Family
Students who attend Sannat Special Unit were given the opportunity to join in discussions on the topic “Sustainability starts with the Family” at GC Boys’ Secondary School. This was a consultation meeting between EkoSkola students and H.E. Marie Louise Coleiro Preca.
